The Flea Market: Fantasy Football Week 6

Welcome to The Flea Market … in this blog weekly I will explore various Daily fantasy football sites and unearth those who present great value…This week we will be focusing on Draftday.com {DD} and DraftStreet.com {DS} $100,000 Salary Cap Leagues…While we are at it…Sign up for this week’s DraftStreet FreeRoll brought to you by “Perusing the Perimeter” Podcast and check out My Weekly Top 12 in the “PTP” Blog.

If you play regular fantasy football why not give one of these sites a chance to win money this weekend and not having to wait until year’s end to collect…But let’s be honest its not cakewalk to win cold hard cash you may need a little help and that’s where I come in…There are several strategies that people use to play these daily leagues depending on the size of the leagues there is no real wrong way to attack these games weekly..Some use the “Stack” method in which they take a game believed to be high scoring affair and choose many of the players from that game to maximize on point potential ..This works better for baseball but have seen it used successfully in football…….My strategy is simple for salary cap leagues and that is to find those you like for a very cheap price to produce some decent fantasy numbers and build around them with fantasy studs…In no way is this an exact science nor does it apply to every version of fantasy sports daily gaming..but I have found success with my methods and want to help you win some money…So every week I will give you the reader options at each position where their value mixed with the opportunity to produce solid numbers makes them a great play to acquiring some cash whether its a freeroll or 2-20 Team leagues.. Much like Standard fantasy football leagues It is up to you to make the final call .. and I am just here to help…so let’s get The 1st edition of The Flea Market on FT411 underway…
QB
*Brandon Weeden (CLE) {DD: $9,500} {DS: $10,867} – The last time the Bengals/Browns played each other…my home team made Weeden look pretty solid…and in what is usually a high scoring affair (possible stack opportunity  between these two teams could pay off huge dividends..

*Kevin Kolb (ARZ) {DD:12.950} {DS:$12,357} – The Bills are allowing a butt load of points and any D that made The Shanchize look like a legit NFL Starter should make Kolb and Co. very attractive plays this week…

*Carson Palmer (OAK) {DS:11,544} – I hate recommending him because he is capable of a huge letdown..but coming off a bye week I have faith that at this value he could be considered a viable starter..
RB
*BenJarvius Green Ellis (CIN) {DD:$8,500} {DS:$9,650} – I mention him in This week’s edition of my “Perusing the Perimeter” Blog…If Bradshaw can gain 200 Yards…The LawFirm should capitalize as he had a very solid game in Week 2 vs. the Browns

*John Kuhn (GB) {DD:$4,000} {DS:$3,423} – I feel bad for all you owners who ran out and grabbed Green or Starks in standard fantasy leagues because … it does not matter who is named the starter with Benson out..John Kuhn is the GL back and unless Green scores on 41 Yard Run on a weekly basis in the RedZone its all Kuhn as he has been money from inside the 5 …

*Doug Martin (TAM) {DS:$9,868} – I love to believe The Bucs made bye week adjustments in where they go back to what worked in Week 1..Feed DMart!!!
WR
*Jeremy Maclin(PHI) {DD:$9,700} {DS:$8.413} – With Jackson demanding more and more attention from opposing Defenses … Vick should find the open man in Maclin this week as the Detroit Lions secondary rolls bracket coverage DJax’s way

*Andrew Hawkins (CIN) {DD:$8,650} {DS:$7,044} – He was targeted early and often a week ago..What is clear about this offense is they will be finding ways weekly to get him 5-10 touches/targets … worth the gamble in what may be a shootout..

*Darrius Heyward-Bey (OAK) {DS:$6,368} – Returning from Bye week .. cleared for action..Carson’s big, physical target should pick up where he left off in garnering a high volume of targets…And being the #1 Redzone passing option sure helps…

*Greg Little (CLE) {DS:$4,332} – He is listed cheaper than Josh Gordon … and scored last time these two teams met..he either puts up or forever shuts up this week..

*Dez Bryant {DS:$9,913} – Romo needs to get the best playmaker on the Cowboys more involved …post bye week..I like…
TE
*Jordan Cameron (CLE) {DD:$4,000} {DS:$2,418} – The young TE scored a week ago … and is getting more and more involved in the offense .. The Cleveland TEs historically have huge games vs. The Bengals in this rivalry

*Antonio Gates (SD) {DD:$8,200} {DS:$7,075} – Squeaky wheel gets the oil…

*Fred Davis (WAS) {DS:$6,875} – With Garcon more of a decoy these days .. Davis has become more and more involved in the offesne only a matter of time he hits paydirt…

*Jermaine Gresham (CIN) {DS:$5,997} – With Haden covering AJ Green expect Dalton to work the middle of the field..

Flex
*William Powell (ARZ) {DD:$7,300} {DS:$6,160} – I like him better than LSH .. call it more of a gut call than anything else …

*Mario Manningham (SF) {DD:$7,600} {DS:6,898} – As we saw a week ago with Meachem..when players are facing their former teams the offense will look to get them involved early and often.. Mario will ride into the game with a chip on his shoulder and should benefit as he has played well all year..
K
*Mike Nugent (CIN) {DD:$5,950} – In a possible shootout I like his chances..
D/ST
*Colts {DD:$5,550} – The NY Jets are terrible and the Colts are better on D than many may think…

*49ers {DS:$4,713} – Eli or not when you can roster the #1 D .. why not when the Colts and Texans cost waaaay more…
